Statutes

  • Florida Statutes
    The legal authority for Florida’s air resource management program is embodied in the Florida Statutes. In particular, Chapter 403, F.S., gives the Department of Environmental Protection authority to establish and administer a comprehensive air pollution control program and carry out the state’s responsibilities under the federal Clean Air Act.
  • Clean Air Act
    The Clean Air Act is the federal law designed to protect the nation’s air quality.
