Alternative Fuels Data Center (AFDC)
The AFDC collects operating information from vehicles (in
programs sponsored by the Alternative Motor Fuels Act ) running on alternative fuels,
analyzes the data, and makes the results available to the public. The AFDC also maintains
information on research conducted for both the Biofuels Systems Division and the Fuel
Utilization Data and Analysis Division of the DOE Office of Alternative Fuels. The site
contains a tremendous amount of data on a wide spectrum of alternative fuels, programs and
research.
American Solar Energy Society The American Solar Energy Society (ASES) is a national
organization dedicated to advancing the use of solar energy for the
benefit of U.S. citizens and the global environment. ASES promotes the

Center for Energy and Technology of the Americas The Center for Energy
and Technology of the Americas (CETA) performs academic research, policy

Clean Cities
Clean Cities is a locally-based government and industry partnership, coordinated by

Disaster Recovery and Building Reconstruction developed by the U.S. Department of Energy’s Building Technologies Program (BTP) in the wake of Gulf Coast hurricanes last fall. The site contains a wide variety of national, regional and local resources for state and local officials, builders, and consumers, as well as information on available training and workshops.
Electric Drive Transportation Association The Electric
Drive Transportation Association (EDTA) is a trade association promoting

The Inventions and Innovations program of the Office of

National Technology Transfer Center
(NTTC)
The National Technology Transfer Center's web page provides
information on current, federally-financed technology being developed by NASA, the

National Association of State Energy Officials Affiliated with the
National Governors’ Association, NASEO members are officials from the
State and Territory Energy Offices and affiliates from the private and
public sectors. The nonprofit association was created by the governors
as an “instrumentality of the states” to improve the effectiveness and
quality of state energy programs and policies, and to be a collector and
repository of energy-related information. NASEO meetings and
communications offer a forum for energy officials, policymakers and
others to exchange information and discuss issues with regional and
national implications.
Issues if concern to NASEO include electric and gas utility,
transportation, buildings, research, economic development,
environmental, energy efficiency, renewable energy and other
energy-related matters.
North American Electric Reliability Council – Florida Reliability
Coordinating Council (FRCC) This website has important links to monitoring types and amounts of energy used throughout the state of Florida, as well as reports and publications.
