Blue Heron

• Man-made Wetland
• Blue Heron Water Reclamation Facility, City of Titusville
• Permitted capacity 6.75 MGD
• Approximately 264 acres
• Been in operation since around 1990
• Located in Titusville, Brevard County

Boot Wetland

• Natural Receiving Wetland
• Boot Wetland, Poinciana Utilities
• Permitted capacity 0.255 MGD as backup discharge to reuse (APRICOT)
• Approximately 115 acres of cypress-gum wetlands
• Been in operation since around 1985
• Located in Poinciana, Osceola County

Indian River

• Man-made Wetland
• West Regional WWTF, Indian River County Utility Department (IRCUD)
• Permitted capacity 42.0 MGD
• Approximately 169 acres of treatment/reuse system
• Been in operation since around 1994
• Located west of Vero Beach, Indian River County

Leesburg

• Natural Receiving Wetland
• Leesburg WWTF
• Permitted capacity 0.57 MGD
• Approximately 500 acres in the Okahumpka Swamp
• Been in operation since around 1997
• Located in Leesburg, Lake County

Orange County Eastern Service Area (OCESA) Wetlands

• Combination Man-made and Natural Receiving Wetlands
• Eastern Water Reclamation Facility, Orange County Public Utilities Division
• Permitted capacity 6.2 MGD
• Approximately 150 acres of constructed wetlands and 150 acres of natural wetlands
• Flow train: distribution man-made wetlands to natural wetlands to redistribution man-made wetlands to natural wetlands and out through exit natural wetlands
• Been in operation since around 1988
• Located in east Orange County

Orlando County Northwest

• Man-made wetland
• Orange County Northwest WRF
• Permitted capacity 3.0 MGD
• Approximately 70 acres of perched constructed wetlands
• Placed in operation around 2003
• Located northwest of Orlando, Orange County

Orlando Easterly Wetlands

• Man-made Wetlands
• Iron Bridge Regional Water Pollution Control Facility
• Permitted capacity 35 MGD
• Approximately 1,220 acres
• Been in operation since around 1987
• Located near Christmas, Orange County
